From a small workshop in Brianza to the Salone del Mobile 2024: after 70 years, the BT Group confirms itself as an Italian excellence in outdoor design and more.
The story of Brianzatende is a story of great Italian entrepreneurship, which began in a small workshop in Brianza in 1954 and is continuing through 2024 with the brand’s second participation in the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone in Milan.
Excellence, quality and avant-garde have guided Brianzatende to success, positioning it among the most innovative companies in the field of outdoor design. Thanks to an excellent strategic vision, the brand has been able to cultivate and promote the artisanal heritage with which it was born, masterly exploiting the latest innovations and winking at new market trends, while remaining sensitive to the evolution of tastes.
Seventy years after that small business started in the Brianza workshop, the BT Group remains faithful to a company philosophy based on key principles such as the choice of the best materials, careful control of the production phases and the creation of 100% Made in Italy products. The evolution of the brand and the market has led to the manufacture of indoor and outdoor curtains with a modern and functional design, and minimal and elegant aesthetics. BT Group pays particular attention to the selection of eco-sustainable materials that guarantee significant energy savings and the reduction of environmental pollution. Ethical and social commitment, in fact, is one of the brand’s main objectives.

We are present with our most iconic products and above all with CODE, the revolutionary new system that won two major design and innovation awards at the last Stuttgart fair, the international trade fair for sun protection,”

Conceived by architect Ivo Pellegri, CODE is an innovative aluminium slatted system that can be combined with different top coverings to create spaces with limitless views. Also for its totally customisable design, this year the CODE system – Customized Outdoor Design Experience – won two prestigious awards at the Innovation Awards 2024: the Special Prize Design and the Silver award in the Outdoor category.
The Sifas® brand, on the other hand, was the protagonist of Milan Design Week 2024, exhibited in the BT Group store in via Fatebenefratelli 9, in the heart of the Brera Design District. The prestigious Sifas® outdoor sets, designed by Paola Navone’s Otto Studio and famous French designer Christofe Pillet, stand out for their simple, clean and elegant lines that give them a unique versatility, making them perfect for any style.
The Fuorisalone was the perfect opportunity to show the public the incredible excellence and innovation that has distinguished the BT Group for 70 years. Moreover, the Brera district saw the brand’s store as a crossroads of encounter and dialogue, a fertile ground for the germination of new ideas and projects.
