During Brera Design Week 2024, Tai Ping, a world leader in handmade carpets, presented the world premiere of the Biophilic Collection: a series of carpets that redefines the relationship between nature and design. Today, this collection is still available at the Tai Ping showroom in Piazza San Simpliciano, where it continues to be a reference point for those seeking elegance and sustainability.
The Biophilic Collection and Biophilic Series for Studio by Tai Ping offer sixteen rugs made exclusively from natural materials such as wool, silk, linen and jute. Free from dyes, the fibres are enhanced in their original shades – from white to beige, grey to brown – creating unique nuances. Characterised by organic patterns and refined geometries, these carpets are the result of intensive aesthetic and technical research.
